Listen to Your Intuition ~ 3 Easy Steps

I had a pet-owners moment last night! One of our girls did not come when she was called. Because it was so hot and humid, the doors were open wide with gates up. My Big Guy figured that Sadie had jumped the gate and escaped into the cool night air. We began our search. After walking through the woods and calling for her, I came back to the house. I sat on my front door stoop and asked for support. I Listened to My Intuition.

3 Simple, Quick & Easy Ways to listen to your #intuition for guidance Share on X

It was in the taming of my thoughts &  calming of emotions, I asked for support and I listened and it came to me.  I went to our second floor and opened the door and there she was….spread out on the bed in the air conditioning. She had snuck up behind my Big Guy earlier in the evening. Thank goodness, I know how to listen to my intuition ~ we’d have been hunting all night for her!

Afterward, as I was talking to Sadie about her listening skills and asking  if she was listening to me right now,  I looked up and saw this pose by her sister! Oh, how the big guy and I laughed and laughed and laughed!!!!!  And, it got me thinking…..

Even I know this but had to remind myself of these three simple steps to really Listen to Your Intuition:

In the case of my Sadie, it was highly illogical that she would be upstairs. We keep the door closed to the upstairs so we didn’t even “THINK” that that is where she would be! We believe she snuck up behind one of us as at some point earlier in the evening! Listen to your Intuition. It saves Time. It saves Angst. It mitigates frustration.

  1. Laura, It’s so important to listen to your intuition. When I go out to harvest plants, its so important to listen because sometimes you hear don’t harvest me or yes its ok, take what you need . Listening is one of the most important things we can do. Using your intuition to hear what you should or shouldn’t do, how you should work with a client or just taking the time to listen to what the universe tells us. I love your story, we find this often. We’ll be looking all over for our dog and she is sleeping soundly at the back of her crate. Thanks for the reminder

  2. I love that you use your’s, Bonnie, in getting feedback from your plants ~ that IS “intuition” of a different kind. Animal & plant “communication” can be part of our everyday lives!” 🙂 🙂 🙂

  3. So wise. Just three simple, achievable, not-overwhelming steps. I find that my intuition is deepest right after meditation. And I’ve learned to trust it more as I’ve become more connected to meditation. It’s a positive feedback loop! =)

  4. Meditation absolutely allows you to get into the zone of intuition. I love that you liken it to a positive feedback loop~ so many of the GOOD things in life revolve that way!
