How to Connect with Self & Spirit

When you connect with Self and Spirit, you discover clarity and courage from within.

Confusion arises when we allow ourselves to disconnect from our inner wisdom. Our inner chatter starts wrecking havoc on us. Our emotions start to take over. Our bodies energy becomes chaotic and our spirit, our inner vibration falls into frustration, impatience, insecurity  and despair. No wonder, it is at times of this disconnect that our decisions become challenging, choices become obscure, success becomes elusive and Joy departs us. The longer we allow this to continue, the harder it becomes to connect with that inner wisdom and live from a place of spirit that allows us to stay centered, secure, in faith and Joy ~ no matter what is going on around us. Connecting with Self is about knowing REALLY KNOWING yourself. It’s about hearing your thoughts, understanding your emotions and vibration, and how you are feeling physically. See, these things will arise. Thoughts will be judgmental and unsupportive. Emotions will simmer. Spirits will ebb and physically, your body will react to this. That is UNTIL you pay close attention to them. Once you understand how you react to life’s situations, you can tame that reaction ~ those thoughts, the emotions. You can stay grounded and maintain a high vibration. Refresh, Refuel & Enrich Your Spirit ...isn't it time? Click To Tweet Too often, we are too busy to do this. I know. I’ve done that! Yes, even someone with as many spiritual aligning tools as I have in my tool chest can allow this to happen when we are not diligent about using them. And, yes, I was there this winter! It’s one of the reasons I have been called to share with you EXACTLY what I did to get myself out of the mess I had created! It’s about refreshing, refueling and enriching your spirit that allows you to understand your self better and then GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY to embark on hearing your inner wisdom and understanding your connection with spirit so that you CAN have clarity and courage in your life. The Process begins here by taking time to:

From There, it’s about setting up an outer connection to Spirit. 1. Such an awesome message! I find myself noticing more and more often when I’m not connected, (as opposed to just blasting through and ignoring it!), and having simple, quick techniques like these really help me. Thanks!

  2. Laura, ain’t it the truth that the people with the most impressive resources are often the ones who most need reminders to use them on their own behalf, and not just for others? Thanks for letting me know I’m not the only one to fall into this ridiculous behavior. “See” you Thursday!

  4. What a great post, Laura. I think that many of us become disconnected and don’t even know it until we fall ill or some great catastrophe occurs. Keeping ourselves aligned, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally is a good practice. You’ve hit the nail on the head with this one. Keep up the great work. 🙂

Sheila ~ that is so true. When things are good, we forget to keep Self & Spirit aligned and often too busy to see things waning until it takes massive action to corect!

We absolutely must walk the talk ~ and get support doing so to make sure that the walk is aligned with what our needs are. As we move forward on this journey, it is so imperative! Thanks, Andrea 🙂

  7. Laura, how uplifting this article is! I adore those who can be open in admitting that even though we know what we ‘should’ be doing we all have times when we forget to be mindful of how we are in the world. I so enjoy how you brought some of the elements into the very simple practice of re-connecting. Hugs!

Bonnie ~ life is too busy, “too complicated” , to add a challenging (and time consuming) practice of connecting! If we use simple spirituality daily, problems never become so big that we need to do a total re-alignment!!!! 🙂
