How To Elevate Your Spirit Using Feng Shui

Your Home. Your Office. They mirror who you are as a person. And, when you are searching for self care to elevate your spirit, You can turn to Feng Shui. This ancient art of placement allows energy to flow. When Energy Flows, Intention in your life gets stimulated. So, if your intention is to elevate your spirit, turn to this ancient art for support.

Allow your space to elevate your Spirit

Allow your space to elevate your Spirit

There are many tools to turn to to elevate your spirit, right? Taking a walk in the woods, reading a self-development book, journaling ~ I could go on and on and on. Indeed, many look to acupuncture, shiatsu or yoga to shift energy in their bodies to feel better. This is all internal shifts. You can also look to the energy that surrounds you to elevate your spirit. Our environments (our homes, our offices and even our cars) have energy in them. When this energy flows, things come together with greater flow, harmony exists among those in the area. When this energy stagnates, watch out! Creativity and relationships can come to a quick halt.

As you begin to look at the environment you are living and working in, there are a few basic concepts you will want to focus on:

INTENTION~ it’s one very effective tool. Setting the intention of your space helps focus and align your environment for your highest good and the highest good of all.
CLUTTER~ Clutter is draining. Use my favorite mantra “Love it, Use it or Lose it.” when it comes to cleaning up your space so that energy can flow efficiently.
PLACEMENT~ of furniture and objects of love greatly influences the flow of chi (or energy) in your home. Put things where energy is allowed to flow.
SYMBOLS ~ in your space influence you on both a conscious and sub-conscious level. Symbols come in the form of photos, awards, art and icons. Be certain that the symbols around you only elevate your spirits.

For a deeper understanding of this, you may want to consult an expert to help with the energy flow in your home or office. You can also look to my Soul Wise Feng Shui Everyday program this next month. It will give you an opportunity to increase the energy flow in your home saving you time and effort and elevating your spirit and Joy in your life.

If you want to elevate your spirits, allow your space to be a mirror for what you want your spirit to feel like and how much Joy you want in your life. What simple shift can you make right now to allow your space to have Energy that Flows for greater Joy?

  3. We can end up cluttering with the best of intentions, like, “I want to be sure to remember to get around to that.” I find that one of my biggest challenges is asking myself whether I REALLY intend to do the task or if I’m just kidding myself that I will. When I’m honest and gutsy enough to admit that I’m highly unlikely to move on something, I can keep my physical space clear and improve my mental health, as well. I love two-fers! 🙂

  6. Synchronicity! I mentioned Feng Shui in a recent blog post. I love this simple introduction to a very deep and sometimes complicated concept – I find this to be quite the challenge when explaining many things that are Chinese in origin, so I really do appreciate this explanation of Feng Shui. Good job!

  7. Intention – that is great one for me. I do this in my work and with my day… buy have not yet applied it to my living space. Great idea! I am still trying to conquer the clutter monster…sigh…One thing that happened to me this last week was that I tackled cleaning out my office closet, which was filled with stuff from our initial move a year ago. When I was done, I realized it shifted and released a lot of energy… not all of it positive. I became aware of how much I was emotionally holding and this action release the floodgate. Interesting!

Good!!! Congratulations!!! Let the floodgates be released~~ can you imagine what you were holding inside all that time??? And, how much room there is no for more supportive energy? If you need support with this, please don’t hesitate to be in touch 🙂
