How to focus & listen to your intuition

Is your intuition talking to you? Yes, Your’s! Everyone has it. It has several names: intuition, inner-guidance, gut-instinct, hunches etc. The difference between people who are ‘intuitive’ and those who are not is simple. Those who are intuitive have learned how to listen to their’s. It’s a teachable skill and as with all skills, some people are ‘born’ knowing it and others have to work at it but it’s still available to you to hear.

Michelle Eades, who is in one of my Soul Coaching® Oracle Card 'sisters', was having a birthday and her good friend, Michelle Negri (who is an AMAZING Cake Artist) made her a card and a cup of coffee totally out of cake and icing.

Often times the chatter in our own heads (your ego thoughts) take up so much room that we forget to listen to our own inner wisdom. To listen to your intuition, it is important to find quiet space to hear it speak loudly enough that your ego gets quieted down. Sometimes, this is not easy. Enter Intuition Development Tools. These tools help you align your outer world, your thoughts & chatter and your emotions with what’s important, your soul speak. By using these, you can focus on what’s important and listen to your intuition.

There are many different kinds of Intuition Development Tools. Meditation is a great example. One that I find extremely helpful is the use of Oracle Cards. Readings come in all shapes and sizes. You can have an extensive reading done by a professional reader. You can use a one card draw to get a message on what is important for you to focus on in your mind’s eye to gain clarity around a situation. These cards, these tools, make it easy to step back and look at a situation and allow your to listen to your intuition ~ your own inner guidance ~ about the best next step to take.

I’ll be sharing my secret system that I use for card drawings and show you the necessary steps to create your OWN powerful readings. You can then use the Oracle Cards to unleash your own inner wisdom to find solutions for your situations. . Come join me. Click <HERE> to register ~ it’s fun and it’s free and there might be time for a few bonus readings! Join me to unravel the mystery of Oracle Card use for yourself!

  1. My intuition is super fast… Sometimes I have an answer before I even ask the question… But then of course I second guess it when it happens like that. But typically… I always know…
Now, if I could learn to do it calmly and quietly THAT would be cool!

Kelly~ your intuition is stellar and when it comes before you ask AND you pay close attention to it ~ watch out! And when you start taking the time to ‘access’ it instead of letting it come to you, it will be clearer and there will be no second guessing! Let me know if I can help you with that, K? KEEP SMILING

  2. Yes, finding quiet and calm to listen anywhere would be cool. Early mornings I can find both – the middle of the day not so much.

Cindy ~ i think so many of us have the same challenge. The early mornings are mystical ~ the middle of the days tend to be filled with more mundane stuff 😉

  4. Oh shoot! I so wish I could make the live stream. It sounds great. I have several different kinds of oracle cards, but I don’t use them as much as I could. I know your insight would make a big difference.

  6. I’m excited to see what this is like! I use my intuition all the time in the office. It’s funny how it’s the things that people don’t mention at all that are most important to them and affect their well being, health, and fertility!

  7. Ah, I’ve spent about 20 years ignoring my intuition. A coach helped me realize that I do have it, I just tend to ignore it in favor of the rational mind. I’m going to work on shifting that – love your suggestion of using Oracle cards, Laura.

  8. I’ve always felt very blessed because I believe I was born with a keen sense on intuition. As I’ve gone through life, I’ve developed my ability to “listen” and trust that no matter what. I’ve had very tangible situations in which I ignored it and regret that. I’m now at the point in my life, where I don’t question it. If I feel strongly about something – no matter how crazy it may look to others – I follow my intuition, knowing it’s guiding me to what’s best for me.

  9. I love meditation. I used to hate it… But now, I find that I’m drawn to it and kind of crave it if I go too long without that quiet time. I very much enjoy the led meditations that I can listen to and follow – am not adept enough yet to lead my own. I also LOVED reading the comments from all your followers. It sounds like so many of us are so good at the logic side. As a coach, and entrepreneur, I can see and hear it in others and myself. I believe intuition is the secret sauce that helps you thrive. Quieting your outer life allows time and space for it. Thanks Laura!

You’re Welcom, Cena~ I so enjoy guided meditations. I love the synchro-alignment meditations I do with my clients. It goes further than a guided meditation and allow you to connect with source on a deep level that allows quiet time to have exponential positive results!!!! keep up all the great work you do 🙂
