What logos and credentials mean when searching for a spiritual coach?

“What do all those logos mean at the bottom of your website, Laura” I was asked this the other day and I was also asked other questions like: What qualifies someone to be a spiritual coach? A Joy Coach? A lifestyle coach? And, what does that all mean anyway?

Those logos mean I continually strive to find more tools to use with my clients. See, I’ve been called a healer. I’ve been called a seer.  I’ve been called a lightworker. And, I’ve even been called a witch! Truly, I’m not really anyone of these. I’m an individual who is a Catalyst to your own inner wisdom ~ someone who is able to assist and initiate your own innate abilities to find your true center and core from where you can draw great wisdom.

So, did those logos help you become this Catalyst? In a way, yes. I had my own life challenges and needed to find my own inner strength. So, I went looking. I read, read and read. I took course upon course. I became quite immersed in holistic therapies for the body and the mind. I am a licensed massage therapist and certified facial reflexologist. This has helped me understand the physical manifestations of stress and dis-ease.

The logos mean this: I am an Interior Alignment ™ Practitioner of Instinctive Feng shui. As such, I help people shift the energy around them for more abundance and soul-wise living. I am certified as an  Integrative Aromatherapy Practitioner and use essential oils to help people live on purpose. I am a Gateway Dreaming™ practitioner and use the knowledge I gained there to help support my advanced clients through learning to remember and understand how their nocturnal dreams can profoundly influence their Life Dreams. I am also a Certified Soul Coaching Oracle Card™ Practitioner and help clients align with their inner wisdom through the use of oracle card decks. AND, I am a Soul Coach™ certified by the International Institute of Soul Coaching.

The logos are the tools I use to help others. After searching for my own solutions for depression and living an abundant and purposeful life, I am driven to helping others do so. Everyone is challenged with self-doubt. We all listen to our egos and our friends when we question steps and choices, direction and journeys. But, when we can quiet down the outer chatter of others and our own inner thoughts, we can find the answers easily and effortlessly from our own inner wisdom.

After doing this for myself, I found it easy to help others get quieter in their heads and their emotions and clearer in their dreams and desires. Through this, I created the R.E.A.P™ Clarity and Success System which helps my clients re-align their energies for abundance and prosperity. So, that is in essence what all those credentials mean. So what does qualify someone to be a spiritual coach? A Joy Coach? A lifestyle coach? Someone who has some credentials like above and uses what they learned, who continually discovers new tools that enhance the work they do. But, really, it’s also someone who can be empathetic and sympathetic to their clients needs.

What do you look for in the coaches you choose?

  1. Licensing and certifications tell me that a person is dedicated to their skill, staying informed and performing to a higher standard. Good for you! I also found the graphics symbolic. They look balanced, strong and centered.

Thanks, Alessa!! I agree with the graphics….even though they are from two different groups ~ they all gell together. In the spiritual world, many believe they do not ‘need’ certifications/licensing as they are doing what they are divinely destined to do and can do so by following the guidance given. I agree with that only to an extent. I believe that if we are divinely destined to do something that spirit will guide us to the appropriate learning forums. And, I know that as the world is awakening to a new time, and that many who are drawn to understanding their inner wisdom, energy and spirit, they will look to those who are certified as they do in following traditional professions. Love your post on your site today too! Very inspirational 🙂

Thanks, Cher! I loved the one when I was called a witch because of the ‘miracles’ I performed 🙂 At least I’m a GOOD witch ;-)….. I do believe that everyone has their own innate ability to heal and be ‘whole’, to live with less pain-emotional or physical. Sometimes, we just need someone to light the path and be that catalyst!!! Blessings back to you 🙂
