How to Have Great Insights

Do you ever wonder why things unfold as they do? Do you ever wonder why the discoveries you make come at a certain point in your life? Have you ever EVER said to yourself Why Now?  Typically, we will say that to ourselves at a time of frustration and challenge. Have you ever asked yourself that at a  time of joy? Asking yourself questions at both times are times when you can have great insights!

When things are good in our lives, we generally do not question them. We stay in joy. When things are not so good in our lives, we question. But, we question out of  frustration not out of intrigue and curiosity. I contend we should always be questioning for it is in those questions ~ it is in the contemplation of questions ~ that we have great insights.

And it is when we take those insights and act upon them that great things  happen.

My neighbors Ready to make some Discoveries!

It’s Columbus Day Weekend, here in the states, and I think about the questions he must have asked about the world. He received great insights around the answers but he did not stop. He took action ~ fearless action And, his discovery changed history.

It’s in those historical personal shifts that our own lives are changed after we have great insights. You do not need to discover new worlds to make simple shifts in your life. You can make great discoveries at any given time ~ in both times of challenge and times of great joy that will bring you great insights. And, if you act upon them? WoW! What a Joy life is no matter what you are facing.

The discoveries come from places deep within our selves. Not out of frustration but out of peace. It is through the use of awakening tools that we can have great insights and discoveries. What tools of great insights do you use? Meditation, Oracle Cards, Journaling, Dream Analysis, Space Clearing, Chakra balancing, yoga????

If you are ready to have great insights, if you are ready to create more discoveries about yourself and take action for greater joy in your life, you are ready to join me in the Oracle Card Mastery Class ~ a Soul Wise Living Intuition Development tool. It’s about creating ways to have great insights in your life. Join me

  1. Love the focus on positive and out of peace. My discoveries often come from just sitting still – maybe that is a form of meditation…

Of course it is Cindy! Meditation comes in many many MANY forms ~ sitting still and quieting the mind is the premise behind all of them. KEEP SMILING

  2. Laura, I simultaneously smiled and grimaced when I read your remark, “We question out of frustration, not out of intrigue and curiosity.” The smile came because I made a similar point in the ezine I sent out this week; I stated it as “Evaluate without being judgmental.” (Is the Universe trying to tell me something by emphasizing this point??) The grimace came in because I’m not as consistent as I’d like about coming from that curious, neutral place. Time to remind myself it’s okay to be a work in progress. 🙂

  3. Laura,
I can totally relate! What you are saying makes perfect sense: question things when they are not going as we want, so we can learn and change. When things are good- why question? They are working out for me, right!?! Well, I will take the insights in this post and move forward. When things are going well I will reflect on why, how, and what is making it happen. This way I can encourage myself to do more of it. Thank you so much for a great article,
    Elizabeth

  4. Well, I like to think that I get insights in the following ways: after physical engagement: yoga, walking, running, exercise, meditation, upon awakening, and on spending time with NO input… driving in the car, closing my eyes and being still. And, a new practice – ASKING for signs and the path to be clear for me. I do not use oracle cards but am interested in your class. Will def. check it out @Laura!
