G is for Grace

The Soul-Wise Living Alphabet

Inspired April 2013

The Soul-Wise Living Alphabet is launched to Awaken Your Spirit & empower your thinking. Words are Energy! They can lift us up and they can just as easily bring us down. Spirit driven words will raise your vibration UP. By finding the meaning these words have in your life and embracing them, one at a time each day ~ after the course of a month, The Soul-Wise Living Alphabet will have raised your energy up. My desire for you is that you are able to embrace your inner spirit  and, as a result, live In-Joy. ~ laura

G is for Grace!

Grace is all about ease and flow of spirit. When you think of someone as graceful, who do you see and what are they doing? How does that vision make you feel?

When I think of Grace,  I envision a young woman in a light, airy and flowing dress. Perhaps someone in the early 20th century on a warm summer’s day who is gracefully walking through a backyard garden with a cool drink in her hand.  She is walking with a simplicity and stature that is dignified yet unpretentious. She has a confidence of self and a love for art, nature and all beauty.

Living in Grace is being able to see the blessings that are inherent to you ~ regardless of the situation that may be facing  you. When we struggle with situations. It is often because we are not open to accepting of people’s differences. It’s being able to appreciate all viewpoints, stand steady in your own beliefs, knowing when to be honest and when to simply let things stand. Indeed, there is a time and place for everything. Grace is knowing this and about being able to move forward without conflict.

What does Grace mean to you? How do you feel when you are practicing the art of graceful living?

  1. When I think of grace, I think of someone who is confident and handles themselves with kindness with respect to other’s differences. We should all be striving for this…the world would be a much better place!

  2. When I think of grace, I first am grateful for God’s grace towards me and that it is available to me at all time. All I have to do is step out in faith and touch the hem of His garment.

Rachel ~ it is with that belief that you certainly are able to move gracefully through life. 🙂

  3. Rachel,

Thanks for coming over to my blog. I’m so glad that you mentioned me on FB so I could read this post. This is wonderful.

Grace is one of my favorite words. For how it sounds, how it feels when you say it and what it means.

I agree with you. Also, Grace is the beautiful express of all that is Divine in each one of us regardless of doing anything to earn it. It is a free gift to all.

When we stay in Grace, life is so easy.

You know when you are in Grace just as you said, you allow all to be as they are as you live as you are. You know that we are all expressions of the Divine. We live in love and peace.

Life is a dream and we control the scenes. That is Grace, to me.

    🙂

  4. When I think of grace, I imagine someone pleasant, calm, wise. Peaceful demeanor, soft-color clothing, someone who listens and does not interrupt often. Someone I can talk to for hours. Oh, what a nice image …
    Great G post.

  5. When I think of grace I think of God. It’s only through the grace of God that I’m saved. 🙂

Several people have noted that they think of God when they think of the word Grace! I wonder if this stems back to ‘grace’ at dinner times as a beginning of your beliefs?!!! 🙂
