Have a Little Faith in YOU

Do you Have a little faith in YOU?  Sometimes, it’s important to do that. When you are in a place where it’s hard to see the sun. When you are in a place that’s dark. When you are in a place where you simply can not see that there is an answer. That is the time that you need faith. Where do you look for it? Sometimes, the best place is right where you are ~ deep within you. It’s Self~faith.

What is self-faith? It’s confidence. It’s the ability to go within and find the answers you are seeking deep inside. If you can quiet down the outer influences you are feeling and if you can quiet down your own inner chatter and if you can quiet down your emotions, that’s when you can find it. And, it’s empowering. It allows you to embrace all that you are. It allows you to see that all is possible. And,  It allows you to step through your fears.

There are many ways to have a little faith in you. It is a combination of science and art of practice and experience. You can go on vacation and rejuvenate. You can meditate. You can pray. You can build vision boards. Just know that you can R.E.A.P.™ Clarity & Success by re-aligning your energies for abundance and on purpose. It IS possible.

Me? When I need to have a little faith in You (me) when I need a good dose of self-faith, I will often listen to soul-full music and go deep to listen to the inner wisdom that IS there. This is one of my favorite songs to do just that. I’ve change the lyrics below to reflect that this is about how to have a little Faith in YOU (not who the song is asking you to have it in ~ a significant other, The Universe, God)

When the road gets dark
And you can no longer see
Just let your love throw a spark
An’ have a little faith in YOU

An’ when the tears you cry
Are all you can believe
Just give your loving arms a try, baby
An’ have a little faith in YOU

Have a little faith in YOU

An’ when your secret heart
Cannot speak so easily
Come here darlin’ from a whisper start
Have a little faith in YOU

An’ when your back’s against the wall
Just turn around an’ a you will see
You’ll be there, You’ll be there to catch your fall
So have a little faith in YOU

  1. Great post. Once I was so depressed that I couldn’t have faith in myself. My pastor had me interview people about why they had faith in me. They each wrote down 3 things on a 3×5 notecard for me to keep. I hung them on my bathroom mirror and read them aloud every morning (and sometimes other times during the day, too). It was a really awesome exercise in recovering my faith in myself. Sometimes our own vision is so muddied that we need others to give us the clarity on this issue that we so desperately need.

You have a very wise and wonderful pastor. That is the kind of exercise that I did to recover from depression and that I do with my clients. Creating Clarity is not often easy and working with the support of another is often the only way that we can shed light on ourselves!!!

  3. Faith and confidence go hand in hand. The more I am feeling good and confident about myself and actions the less time I spend thinking of what isn’t working and have faith I am nearing my goals.
