The Use Of Dowsing Pendulums for Beginners

The dowsing pendulum has been around for a number of years, and it is still considered one of the best ways to get simple answers to simple questions.  It takes time to learn how to use a pendulum but the practice is worth the effort.

So, if you want to make quicker, easier and more decisive decisions,  NOW would be a great time to start practicing.

The Basics are:

– Center yourself.

– With your arm relaxed, hold the chain in the top of your hand.

– Visualize the energy flowing through your body.

– Shorten the chain a few inches in length.

– Ask a question.

– Allow the pendulum to move ~ on it’s own ~ to give you the answer.

You will obviously want to start with a basic yes or no question, and to start out, you might simply ask the pendulum to give you a yes. Upon doing so, the pendulum will typically move in either a counterclockwise or clockwise pattern. The ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ pattern will change per person, so make sure you establish it ahead of time. If you want to verify, then try asking the pendulum a question you already know the answer to.

The most important thing to remember is that you will need to ask direct questions. In other words, stick to basic yes or no questions to ensure you actually get an answer. If you do not ask the right questions, you will get the wrong answers — it’s as simple as that. In the beginning, you will probably have some doubts, and there is a bit of a learning curve. In the end however, you will be glad.

Think about the questions you struggle with daily. The one’s that aren’t so very important but take your valuable time and energy reserves to answer. Do I stay after at work for an hour to work on the impending deadline to a project? Do I go running or biking for my daily exercise? If you can find the answer quickly and easy and an answer that is best in alignment with your inner wisdom, imagine the energy you will save.

What is one question you can think of that ~ if you had the answer to now ~ you would save yourself time and energy?

  3. This seems like a nice idea. I’ve used dowsing crystals in the past as part of a decision making process, but I wouldn’t recommend just going with whatever result you get from it for everything. I like them more for a fun way to be more in tune with myself.

Certainly, you are right Emily!!! Beginners should not ‘trust’ the pendulum with really important decisions but use it as a fun way to connect with themselves on a deeper level. I’ve used a pendulum now for over 5 years and trust it’s results for myself. It takes the ‘thinking’ out of a decision. The decision comes from soul and those are always truthful! Yes?
